TERROR ISLAND

3000+ acres of the best Airsoft playing field you’ve ever seen! Private land with overnite camping area, campfire and group fun for all. 2 separate playing areas with varying obstacles. Heavy forest bordered by the South Platte river and THIS IS PRIVATE LAND!!! NO BIO BB’S REQUIRED!!! There will be NO POSTPONEMENTS OR MOVES…(unless mother nature interferes.) This will be a MILSOFT operation (combination of Milsim and Airsoft) mission objective combined with all out skirmish!!! Great for all types of players! RSVP will be required. RSVP must be received no less than 48 hours before start of game so that ASP\CATS can prepare camping area\game area and other required logistics. This will be a non-sanctioned, honor system event. There will be no judges…so that all can participate and have a BLAST!!! This event is being put on to promote some KICK-ASS airsoft and a chance to meet other airsoft enthusiasts from the Rocky Mountain region. Come down, have a SERIOUS good time, and stay the weekend and enjoy some good people, good fun and GOOD AIRSOFT!

Mission Brief
You have received intelligence that your enemy has taken over a small un-inhabited island 5 miles from your main coast, and within striking distance of your capital city. Intel suggests they may be massing forces for a first strike. They have begun setting up a communication outpost, and gaining a foothold close to your territory. Intelligence to this point has been very limited due to the ability to easily defend the island. At approximately 2200 yesterday, in an attempt to obtain intel on the enemy forces and their capabilities, one of your spy planes was shot down over the island. The pilot status is unknown… the condition of the intelligence unknown.
Due to the imminent threat to your territory’s national security, your government has called upon their best special ops team to ensure the missions success. Your mission is to insert onto the island and destroy the communications outpost and recover the intelligence from the downed aircraft. Attempt to locate the pilot, and extract your forces and the intel from the island. It is vital to your countries sovereignty that this intelligence is found and returned. Satellite has confirmed the enemy is massing a small force to search for the plane. You must hurry and complete your mission… TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

Rest of the Secret Squirrels are unable to attend do to work scheduling conflicts and other things. I can still attend but don't have a vehicle to drive down. One last thing... I hope. We will be utilizing dead rags for this event. I couldn't remember mentioning it so I am posting it again. Sorry if I forgot to mention it. Just a quick descrip... Red "dead rag" will be worn on the head after you have been hit and it's a good idea to leave it there until you have respawned so you don't get hit while you're waiting.

We have alot of people... there is a total of 32 so far if everyone makes it and yes the plan for sunday is a free for all! There will hopefully be lots of people on sunday.

Also... Event activities(chronoing etc) will commense at 0600 Saturday. Assembly At 0700. (about 15 minutes). this will leave about 45 minutes for each team to build a battle plan, and separate. The game may begin at 0800. Just a little hint... your team (the invading force) may want to use the time to build a command structure amongst yourselves. This event is an open event and the plan and execution of the mission will be up to you! The intel packets you will receive will give you a general mission, but the plan will be up to you!

Hey folks... here are the directions to the event...
I-25 south to U.S. 34 east towards greeley. south on 65th to 49th. east on 49th. Watch for a small American Flag on a pole on the south side of the road. Turn south onto the dirt road. There is a cattle gate at the end of that road,that is the entrance to the camping area.
U.S. 85 south to Evans. (south side of Greeley). Turn west on on 42nd. Go west to Industrial Parkway. Turn south... this will turn into 49th. Head west and watch for a small American Flag on South side of road. Turn South on dirt road.
Campers will be allowed to park in A.O.. Otherwise vehicles will be parked outside of the camping area. There will be a small number of support vehicles inside the A.O., and we can allow some vehicles in the camping area, but we will not have room for parking all vehicles in the camping area. It is a short distance to the actual A.O.(camping area). Vehicles will be allowed to access the A.O. for loading and unloading of equipment if necessary.
Please note my phone number on the event page if you have any trouble finding the event area. Please go ahead and drive to the A.O. upon arrival and get checked in. Disposition of your vehicle will be determined at that point.
We're coming up on the deadline for rsvp's so if anyone out there is still thinking of attending, please rsvp before 0800 on Thursday the 20th!
