What a great event !!!! The operation that was put together for each team was awesome. We would really like to see this type of MilSim put together in the future getting as many players as we can too attend. Anyone who enjoy's MilSim would have a great time with this. Big THANKS to ASP of Greeley, CO. for hosting this event. I would like everyone to know that this response has been put together based on the C.A.T.S. Team majority and that we understand that we all know that some things may not go as planned in any event, however we put our trust in event hosting that taking these things into consideration that player safety is FIRST, not the number of kills aquired by anyone playing in an event. ( see comments below pro's///con's
Pro's
1. Event Logistics- Awesome
2. Event Prep- Good
3. Prop's used- Awesome
4. Playing area- Very Good-(A bit spead out for the turn out, but still good fire fights)
5. No Misqueto's
Con's- explanation below
1. Event intel was not followed as printed on team copies
2. Bang Bang rule was violated with no reguard/response to safety
3. C.A.T.S. Team early withdraw
4. Pre-Op briefing- (Communication)
5. Suggest RSVP for Event Prep.
6. #5 So we do not have to split up teams to fit the event. Back-up plans can prevent this from happening. Teams attend these events to play using their tactics/training not to have to use them on their own team-mates.
Our team withdrew from this event prior to the end time based on 2 things. 1st A conflict and mis-understanding with the information that was given to each team in their intel envelopes. It was brought to our attention that during the morning briefing prior to starting the event there was some discussion/confusion about a participant being re-inserted as a combatant. This information should have been made clear to atleast 1 member from each team by the event hosts to prevent the direct conflict this had with the information printed in the intel. 2nd Bang Bang rule violations !!!! We CAN-NOT and the C.A.T.S. Team WILL-NOT allow these types of violations to go un-policed even if we are not the event hosts. A specific guide line has been set to protect each playes SAFETY first, not to hear excuses made for poor misjudgement of distance. When these types of violations occur something must be done to prevent anyone getting injured. (This DID-NOT Happen) So to protect our Teams SAFETY we chose to withdraw from the event. We are not pointing a finger, however we do now and will continue to support the Rules voted into place by the members of Wyoming Airsoft and if need be we will remove our team from danger when SAFETY is no longer the NUMBER 1 priority. We would like to THANK all of the players whom attended and apologize if our early withdraw messed up the event, we just couldn't put our team in a situation where someone could get injured.
