Wyoming Airsoft

Wyoming Airsoft, Eye Protection on Let'er Buck!

Pre-announcing a 2-3 day training:

Fee would be $15 for 2 day and $20 for 3 day

Location; Camp Guernsey Northern Training Area (M.O.U.T. site)

Date: To Be Announced

This training known as S.C.O.U.T. or Specialized Combat On Urban Terrain, is derived directly from advanced tactics that are taught to military personel. The training is adapted to airsoft and directed towards small unit tactics and strategies.

A short list of what the training would entail:

- Entering/clearing and defending small structures
- Methods of fire on targets
- Controlling squad/team fire
- Proper employment of pyrotechnics/smoke
- Use of weapon systems
- Communication practices
- Movement strategies
- Cover and concealment techniques

This training would be most effective learned as a team so team training is recommended. Once again, when the range is secured and reserved I will post time/date and a sign up roster and waivers.

Thank you
Josh

We are looking towards the early parts of Summer. We are also considering doing a General Infantry Course for the basic skills and development of skills leading up to the advanced courses.

We'll definitely keep you posted on this.

Would this be a over night thing? Would there be any night training/OPs?

Reply to This

I am still planning it all out and adapting all the teaching points to airsoft. We will cover night/low light ops and general night movement training. As to overnight I have to check with post and see if I need special permission for a over-night stay on ranges. If not then I will post up information on local hotels and whatnot.
